Check out this cute photo I received in the mail the other day! My British fan Paige got a signed copy of my "Drama Queen" single for her birthday, and her dad tells me she has framed it. That's so sweet! Isn't she adorable?

Religion doesn't excuse homophobia
I recently had a discussion with a woman who said she doesn't approve of homosexuality because the Bible tells her it's a sin. In my opinion, no matter what religion you believe in, calling homosexuality a sin is totally unexceptable!
I asked her if she thinks that stoning people to death is right too, just because the Bible says so, but she ignored my question and went on about how bad homosexuality is.
I doubt that any modern Christian would say that stoning people to death is right, yet many of them CHOOSE to follow the Bible word for word when it comes to homosexuality. I find that hypocritical and very offensive.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I will never tolerate discriminating comments from anyone, no matter what their excuse is. I'm a believer myself and if there is a God, and he is good, he loves everyone, no matter who they fall in love with.
Being gay is not a choice, but being homophobic is. You don't have to understand everything you see and hear in this world, but at least you can respect that people are different from you. If we want the world to accept homosexuality it's important that we stand up to these narrow-minded people!
I would like to recommend the 2009 movie "Prayers For Bobby", starring Sigourney Weaver. It tells the true story of gay rights crusader Mary Griffith, whose teenage son committed suicide due to her religious intolerance. I wish this important film would be screened in schools and churches all over the world.
Remember, religion is never an excuse for being homophobic!

Die From A Broken Heart video synopsis
Here is the synopsis of the video for my single "Die From A Broken Heart", directed by Johnny Wu of Media Design Imaging.
"High school can be pretty rough. But for those of us who are victims of bullying, it can be downright miserable. Such is the case for Brad - a bright, introverted student just trying to stay alive.
He's caught somewhere between personalities - still trying to define himself. But when the school's star swimmer, Adam, enters into Brad's camera lens; Brad develops a fascination with him that could prove deadly... as Adam turns out to be a bully himself.
The questions build up and start swirling through Brad's head sending him into a downward spiral. But as he falls deeper into his own conscience, could a light be appearing at the end of the tunnel?
Brad must overcome his fears and allow someone to reach out to him, so that he can define himself - and his place - in the world."

Don't take everything personally
Some people are too sensitive. They take everything you say personally, as if they're just waiting for people to be mean. Calm down! Life must be boring if you think everyone's out to get you. Besides, believe it or not, I'm getting too old for drama ha ha!
Peace out!

Rest in peace, Donna Summer
I'm so sad. One of my favourite singers, the fantastic disco diva Donna Summer, has passed away. She had been battling Cancer for a while and sadly lost the fight. She was sixty-three years old.
This is such sad news. I've been a huge fan of hers for ages and I can't believe she's really gone. But Donna's amazing voice will live forever, that's for sure.
Rest in peace, angel. We miss you already.

How are you?
I don't understand people who never ask how others are and who only talk about themselves. Sure, when you feel bad it can sometimes be difficult to think of others, but when it happens over and over again, it's a problem. All relationships are about giving and taking.
"How are you?" is a very simple question to ask but it means so much. The world would be a much better place to live in if people stopped to think of others every now and then.

Video: Italians partying to Drama Queen
A friend sent me this video, taken from a gay party in Italy where they are partying to my single "Drama Queen". I hear they are planning to use it as a theme song for their summer parties. Great news! Italians do it better!

Die From A Broken Heart
They say that time will ease my pain
but life will never be the same.
Without your love my life is grey.
I cry every night and day.
Since you left I'm in despair.
I think that I'm beyond repair.
I'm bound to lose this fight.
Will I make it through the night?
Will I die from a broken heart
after you tore our love apart?
Will I see the light again
or fall apart?
Fall apart.
It's all so rough I can't sustain.
I try so hard to hide the pain.
When you left with your new boy
I felt like a forgotten toy.
You moved on without regret.
Still your voice I can't forget.
So afraid to be alone.
I can't make it on my own.
Will I die from a broken heart
after you tore our love apart?
Will I see the light again
or fall apart?
Fall apart.
Will I die from a broken heart
after you got a brand new start?
How can I go on from here?
I fall apart.
Broken heart.
Maybe someday you'll regret it,
realise that you were wrong.
Maybe someday we will make it.
"But can I wait that long?"
Will I die from a broken heart
after you tore our love apart?
Will I see the light again
or fall apart?
Fall apart.

I'm a Twitter nerd!
When I first heard about Twitter I thought to myself: "Oh no! Not another Facebook clone." But since I'm such a geek I had to try it out anyway. Now, I've been tweeting for a couple of years and I'm still loving it! It's a great way to share your thoughts.
I've written over 10,500 tweets and I have almost 600 followers, which feels great! If you would follow me on Twitter, I'd be very happy! Don't forget to take me with a grain of salt.
Welcome to Planet Bimbo!

Bimbo Boy Collection 2002-2009
As my friends know, I don't listen to my own music very often. I always get embarrassed and start blushing whenever I hear my songs on the radio, especially the older ones. But I'm so glad people still like them!
The producers have always done a great job, it's just that I'm very shy and self-critical so I'm not comfortable listening to myself. Besides, some of my older lyrics are a bit dirty ha ha! And my voice wasn't as strong back then.
Anyway, while waiting for my new single "Die From A Broken Heart", I have put together a playlist with all my songs from 2002 to 2009. Some of them can be downloaded for free. But please keep in mind that some of them are quite old now!
